Craft the page subject. By default, this also controls/writes the URL, the Title and the H1 tag. Each of these field should then be rewritten so they are not just duplicates of each other.
Write the page title. Use the phrase at the front of the title, that is, try to start the title with the selected phrase.
Write the slug to contain the phrase with each word being separated by a hyphen. Only use hyphens for this purpose; word separation.
Add the textural content to the body of the page. Try and make sure this text contains at least 300 words (minimum).
Write a unique meta description utilizing the selected phrase near the beginning to give it prominence.
Save your draft, preferable after each new data entry on the page.
Check the helper for more suggestions, such as adding a picture, adding a text link, adding alt text to images etc. the object is to get the green light.
Once you’ve done the technical tasks to get the green light, proof read the entire document to make sure it has no usability/readability problems. Then publish the page.
The object is to have a page that is authored for the user reading it, so that the content is quality, helpful and useful. Then use the Yoast SEO Tools Focus Keyword in WordPress to, as implied, “focus” the content of the page in a way that search engines better understand what the page is about and that the page is about the focus keyword. Finally, double checking to ensure that the document is still readable and useful and free of any unnatural feel like “keyword stuffing.” This is not all that you can do to “SEO” your page, however the Yoast for SEO Focus Keyword tool does help the Webmaster get essential SEO factors covered on page prior to publishing the page. And of course, you can use this on all of your existing pages and posts in WordPress; it is not limited to new content.
